Weddings
Engaged couples can plan a lovely, sunset beach wedding with flowers and tiki torches. Flowers for the bridal bouquet come from the resorts garden. A locally baked wedding cake is ordered and there is always cold champagne for the wedding toast. Dinner can be arranged in their private beachfront cottage or in the seaside dining room. Friends and family are warmly welcomed and we can easily arrange our wedding package to include them.
Paper work before the wedding will need to be filled out and sent back to the Island, via a Florida address, several days before the bride and grooms arrival.
While staying with us at FBV the newlyweds can enjoy their picnic to a secluded beach, boat rentals, snorkeling excursions, kayak or paddleboard excursions through the creek. Fishing is available, shelling on the pink sand North shore is amazing – there is no one there but yourselves. They can take an island tour and visit the hermitage, shop at the local straw vendor and have lunch. Massages can be arranged with a local masseuse who will come to their villa or cottage. Hair and nail services are available at the resort on your special day
FBV is unique in it's close proximity to the beach, sun and sand. We only have 17 units spread over 50 acres so there's lot of room to spread out. It's quiet, private and friendly.
